Your project is due to me in .wav format BEFORE class begins on Monday. Be prepared to discuss it in class.
It is worth 100 points. Your final grade of the year will be the total sum of all your projects divided by the number of projects (6 or 7) we have. I will also take into account any extra credit additions or attendance penalties after I calculate your grade.
For each project out of 100 points, each of these are worth 1/4 of your grade.
1. technical sophistication, quality (technical and conceptual)
2. conceptual, do you communicate your idea effectively
3. timeliness is the project turned in on time and in the correct format
4. potential, development of personal style, improvement from progress checks to critiques, and overall improvement throughout the semester
Your overall grade will be based on your understanding of the information and ideas discussed, and your formal, technical, and conceptual progress as demonstrated in projects and exercises, and professionalism during the course.
